Keeping in mind the cut-throat competition prevalent today here not much difference in the private and government universities. I don’t know much about Chandigarh University, but yes heard a lot about LPU as few of my friends are studying in LPU and speak a lot about the academic environment of the campus; be it classroom teaching, teaching pedagogy adopted by the faculty, infrastructure, security of students and staff as well, central library, and the like.

The campus believes in the holistic development of the students; be it academically or extracurricular or co-curricular. LPU also provide scholarships to the students on previous qualification or performance in sports and/or cultural and also on defense.

I also heard that they do have phenomenal placement record and quite recently, Amazon has picked 8 students of B.Tech CSE for their AI skills on a package of 28 LPA.

I would like to tell you that LPU is better than Chandigarh University in many ways. Some of them are mentioned below:

• If you are graduated then companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys and many more visit LPU and recruit a very large number of students. The highest salary offered till now for B.Tech stream is 20L per annum and the lowest salary is around 2.5L per annum.
• LPU has an amazing infrastructure which is one of the best in the country with everything necessary for one's co-curricular growth. The campus also includes a hospital which will be open for 24*7 hours and serves students with proper care. The hostel rooms are very spacious and students can choose any types of the room they want as there is a lot to choose from.
• The faculty of LPU is amazing. They are very friendly, cooperative as well as skillful. Teaching methods followed in LPU include the use of PPT which is the best way to teach the students as it is easy to grasp and remember the information in a pictorial way rather than just in the audio form.
• Every fest conducted by the college is supervised by the students with the cooperation of the faculty. Fests like One India and One World conducted in LPU encourage the students from other colleges and universities showcasing a friendly environment and coordination of students.
