Dear
You should go for professional degree as a Plan B for your career because if you are not able to crack the Civil examination then you can start your career from the degree.
You may consider these options
Law
Economics Hons
Psychology
Philosophy
Sociology
English Hons
Mathematics
Physics Hons
B.pharma
All the best

82.4 per cent marks in 12th can be considered good. Aspiring for Civil Services Examination (UPSC) specifically IAS, you need to first decide which subject you should take. Further, if any subject interests you more, you should follow your interest.
Take for example, if you have an interest for Indian Polity, you may take BA Political Science and take up classes for Public Administration for the UPSC competitive exam.
Moreover, UPSC civil services examination needs a complete hold over General Studies papers which are classified under four parts, GS I, GS II, GS III and GS IV. Each of the GS papers have different subjects within them. Basically, these GS subjects are the papers of Economics, History, Geography, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biodiversity, etc.
Hope it helps.
