If you are able to get a seat in any of the Chennai campuses, go for it and forget about gaziabad.

most of the students who get good rank in SRM Jee also get good rank in most of the engineering exams like JEE Mains and VIT so they prefer to go to these colleges. That is why cutoff in srm campuses is high..Note that the fees of SRM ktk is too high than other campuses. So select the campus wisely during councelling.
