As we know that the two ranks are declared by the NTA for JEE-Main for those candidates who belongs to any of the reserved category like OBC, SC/ST and so on, so the seat will be alloted to you on the basis of your category rank because that would be more preferred as compare to the CRL rank. If you are seeking admission in IPU then you can take admission on either basis that means you can take admission either through your category or through general category.
