The Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) , is a private engineering and management school located in the state of West Bengal, India. Founded in the year, 1989, it is the oldest private engineering school in the state. IEM group has recently opened a university in Kolkata named University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata. IEM is a NAAC grade 'A' college.IEM is regarded as one of the top engineering institutes in the state of West Bengal.

UEM Kolkata ranked no. 1 in whole India in NPTEL examination in September–October cycle of 2016 and received a "AAA" rating from NPTEL, IIT Madras.

M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) , is an autonomous private engineering college located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University headquartered at Belgaum, Karnataka, India. The college was established in 1962. Since August 2007, RIT has been academically autonomous for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs.
