For admission in NITs , yes you should clear jee mains with a good score . Getting just the cutoff isnt enough.

Hello ayush,
It depends on which institute you want to join,if you want to join in some NIT or IIT or IIIT then you must clear mains exam.
But,if you want to join in local colleges then you need to write local exams.
