Sir I got 81% in12 bord examination by up bord I want to take admission in bsc in du.could it be a chance that my name comes in du merit lst
Hello!
As we all know that admission to Delhi University is based on the cut offs they produce. And the cut offs are according to the reservation rules. So, according to that, I can’t tell you that 81% is perfect for you to get admission over there or not until and unless you tell me your category.
However, for just an idea, if you belong to general category, then 81% is very less to get admission for bsc over there. You need to wait for your chance and may be you can’t get admission there.
I wish you all the best.
Thankyou
Hey Aaxi!
This is not the case in DU that your name comes in DU merit list. It is just that your percentage should be equals to or more than the cutoff released by the college .And as far as the seat in B.Sc is considered , so you need to tell me the subject in which you want to pursue B.Sc and also your caste .Please mention both in comments . Because only after knowing that , i can help you in knowing about your chances of admission in du.
Hope you understand!
hey aaxi yes there is possibility of you rtto get admissions in du . there is no hinderance for non cbse students in du . also remember that for du admissions best of 4 marks are considered and not the overall percentage .a single cutoff list wll be released for the students of all boards. check out the last year cutoff to get better idea of % recquirements
The possibility of your admission in DU mainly depends on two factors, first is the course you want to pursue and other is your category. B. Sc honshas higher cutoff than B. Sc physical science and as far as your case is concerned, your marks are not enough to get you admission in DU in B. Sc Honors ( Assuming you to be a general category student).
As far as B. Sc physical science is concerned, you may have an outside chance of getting admission in DU and that too depends on your PCM percentage not on the overall percentage.
Hope it works.
It would be great if you can tell us about your category and PCM marks to make the answer more relevant.
