Mechanical engineering is a good branch.Mechanical engineers are required to design, test, manufacture, install, operate and maintain a wide array of machines and mechanical systems that are used in industries.The demand of Mechanical engineers may increase in coming time. And as far as DTU is concerned, it's the most prestigious institution in North India. You definitely will get a good placement after 4 years.
hello,
in general people say the placements for mechanical stiudents are very low, which in my opinion is not a correct opinion. If you are expecting placerments like that of cse/ece, then i am sorry, mechanical is not like that. If you are interested in it, you can definitely take it. The college is decent enough.
