Hello Ansar
If you belong to general category than you have only one option left ( i.e. of being in top 20 percentile).
Or if you are SC/ST than it is 65% in boards ( eligibility criteria).
Otherwise you can not get admission in NIT.
ALL THE BEST.

Hello.
Eligibility criteria for admissions to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs has been revised with the MHRD announcing 20 percentile cut-off marks or minimum 75 per cent marks in class XII as the new norm for entry to the institutes of national importance.
The new eligibility criterion for admissions toNITs, IIITs and CFTIs has been announced after MHRD eliminated 40 per cent weightage to class XII board marks in preparing JEE Main Rank List. Till 2016, the JEE Main Rank List would be prepared basis 60 weightage to JEE Main performance and 40 per cent weightage to class XII board marks. Further, the admissions to NITs,IIITsand GFTIs were made on the basis of JEE Main Rank List only. Aspirants from general category only needed 45 per cent marks in each of the subjects in class XII to qualify for admission to these institutes.

But sir in 2019 jee admission need 75% in board exam.Is that is a problem? Or 74.5% round off to 75%?
You have very less chances I guess because 75% is Mandatory and percentages are never round figured
But may have chance if your certificate of board has printed as 75%

Sir but I got above 75 % in all the subject, except English language. In English I have only 50% mark. This subject is the only one reason that my grand total fall to 74.5. Is English ,one of the subject that in jee main eligibility cutt off ?
