Though I have done my engineering in CSE from LPU, but I have my friends who have done Aerospace engineering and I have seen them getting good placements as well. The students with the guidance of the department and University are very active in the field of automobile research and activities. A student has an Automobile club under Society of Automobiles India, Under which the teams have participated in various competitions by making their vehicle in Supra SAE (Student Formula CAR), Baja SAE India, BAJA SAE USA, Efficycle (LPU Hosted the SAE Efficycle event in Oct-2015. Organized International Go-Kart Championship which is a student-initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. The Department has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design, and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation.
