see vit vellore and lovely professional university both is excellent if you are asking about btech course in  terms of placement , infrastructure, faculty, extra curricular activities, etc. however it also depends on which stream you are going to have. for cse or It lpu is preferable since it has collaboration with google and students from cse IT  are getting android technology courses from google.

The highest placements at both Vellore Institute of Technology and Lovely Professional University is nearly the same with VIT 42.6LPA and LPU at 42 LPA. Both have great placement opportunities for their students benit final placements or summer placements/internships.
