Since BITS is one of the top most ranked private engineering college across the country from so many years.
Regarding the view of ECE will feels you totally different as compare from other private engineering colleges including some NIT'S as well because after your Engineering degree from ECE Department at BITS hyderabad campus will make you feel better and proud on yourself that you have done much things in comparison with some things. That is the view of ECE at Hyderabad campus.
Now coming to the point of packages. The average package of ECE will lie from 4.5 to 6 lakh per annum depends on the quality of student's. Eventhough package will be more high because it has best faculties, best researchers, good labs etc. so automatically placements will be higher with a good packages.
If you are getting a branch there then definitely you should go for it.
