Dear Aspirant,
MET or Manipal Entrance Test 2020 is an online test to get into Manipal University. They have introduced the Open Test Booking System (OTBS) which is based on the availability of the seats at the centres provided in the list provided by Manipal. When there are are a lower number of students who apply, the centre is made available at the nearest city to the applicant' preferred city.
For this, you need to login to the OTBS website and book your slot for the first attempt. No matter if you are present or absent in this attempt, you can book the slot for the second attempt. But if you have not booked your slot for the first attempt, you cannot book your slot for the second attempt as well.
If you wish to book a second attempt on the immediate next day of the first attempt, you would have to book it before 5 pm and it will be done for your first and second slot but the third slot, it would not be applicable on the third day. This means that if you have your first attempt in slot 1 or slot 2, you can make the booking for the second attempt at any time before 5 pm to get the test the very next day if you do it before 5 pm.
If by chance your first attempt is in slot 3, you need to login to the OTBS system and book the next attempt after 10 p.m. To make it easier to understand, if you are giving your exam in Slot 1 or Slot 2, you can book the next day for the exam too on the availability of the seat for your next attempt but that is not applicable for slot 3. So, choose your slots wisely.
Hope this helps. All the best!
