As you yourself understand , cut off marks depend on the relative performance of all your fellow competitors and they can't be accurately predicted before the exam itself. So I suggest that you try to give your best shot and forget about it till results. If you need to set a target I suggest you go through previous year cutoffs to get an idea.

The cutoff of JEE Mains can never be predicted before the exam.It keeps changing and depends on several factors.
To get a seat in NIT or other good CFTI,score more than 150 to almost get confirmed.
