Cutoff of anna university is not calculated based on states.
Your cutoff marks is calculated based on 12th agregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Your cutoff is calculated as follows
- convert maths marks to 100
- convert physics marks to 50
- convert chemistry marks to 50
- Add all the marks you get your cutoff out of 200

Not only for northeastern sates, for everyone the cutoff for mechanical in Anna University will be around 198-200.
