All aspiring candidates have to first apply for the test by filling the application form and paying the examination fee. Thereafter, they need to book their test slots for the day and time on which they want to take the online test. Indian nationality, Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas City of India (OCI) card holders are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2018. Candidates who have passed class 12th/equivalent exam or are appearing in class 12th/qualifying examination in 2018 from a recognised central/state board are eligible for appearing in SRMJEEE 2018 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Candidates studied International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma or A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology/ Biotechnology as major subjects in any International school within India are also eligible. Candidates without studying Mathematics as one of the major subjects in 12th or qualifying equivalent exam are only eligible for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering programmes.
