which is best among vit Vellore or manipal University ??
Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university.
Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculties and staff, offering more than 200 programmes.
Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU -
1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand.
2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here.
3) Placements - The University has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU becomes the favourite landing place for bulk recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Meditab and many more
4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives.
5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus.
6) You will get an online system i.e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more.
7) Security measures for girls - If you’re a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you’ll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers up to 07:30 probably. So if you don’t enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That’s a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I’m sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PG’s near University. Now decide what’s best for you. But you’ll be super safe inside the hostels than in PG’s that’s for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied with a guard from you hostel to library. Hospital, Mall, indoor stadium is also available inside the university campus.
8) LPU is having experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc.
9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you’ll have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, and basketball anything. You’ll get many-many tournaments in every case. If you’re a computer geek, you like coding and all that technological stuff. You are going to have a great ride.
10) The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives. Some of the reputed companies that visits LPU for placements for B.Tech. are - Amazon, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Bosch, Samsung, Voltas, Lava, Vodafone and many more.
My experience - You’ll have all round development if you take part in all the different events and use every single resource provided by the University. Every experience, good or bad, differs from person to person. The University is never bad, it is their experience there. I have given my unbiased review of some of the points of University.

If you are thinking for B tech admission and confused about which college is best, I suggest to to go for VIT Bhopal as it's package and placement are good as compared to Manipal university. The fee of both the Colleges are nearly same. But the education quality of Vit Bhopal is good. But remember also take admission in main campus only of both the Colleges. Not in their branches , as it will not give that environment which you will get at main branch and facilities also.

Both are good in their respective place and have some merits as well as demerits.But apart from all the pros and cons.VIT Vellore is one of the most reputed institution and it offers great education facility,great placements various options to explore.
So, i would say VIT has a slight upper edge over Manipal.

Both University have a good stand and gives a very wide range of education. It would not be good to compare these two universities on no basis but you can compared to university for a particular course, placement wise. If you want to compare these two universities on the basis of placement then you can say Manipal university is better. But both are private universities and both are really good.
