Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. So if a degree in B. Tech (Civil engineering) is what you seek, I suggest that you do consider LPU. I have sound reasons to actually make this suggestion.

Actually I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU.He told me B. Both the choices are really good. Real question is CSE vs Civil Engineering.You can be at a very good place if you work hard at any of the places. Still for the comparison purpose, I’ll do it. Just match your interest and make your decision.

Factor : 1 - If you want to go by name then VIT Chennai is better than VIT Bhopal.

Factor : 2 - If you have a particular interest towards a particular branch, go for it.

If still confused where to go, my personal suggestion will be to go ahead with CSE as it is the most preferred branch now a days.Hope i helped you.
