I’m a passout from LPU and have profoundly utilised my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors and management.

Hostels:-The first thing that almost parents are concerned about is the safety. And LPU is one campus that takes security of all their students very seriously. There are automated biometric machines that keep a record of each entry and exit in the hostel. Next comes food, the mess here is super hygienic and provides us with quality food four times a day.
The industry exposure that we got during our tenure is commendable. I can clearly see the difference in terms of concept clarity and strong basics at my workplace and I owe it all to my college .

My cousin Brother has completed B.tech CSE from this University,He got placed in Amazon with handsome package,Reviews are pretty good, I’ll share my points with all of you. Academically, it is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities.The curriculum blends in with the technology.
Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology’s Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals.
About the university- It is situated in Punjab (Jalandhar).The campus is built over a huge area of around 600 acres of land and has the best facilities for the students.Life at University isn’t just about studying and hard work, it’s about balance. Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a well-established university in India which has proved its worth in a few years. LPU offers 200+ programmes in the diploma, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels with various specializations.
The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc.
The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students . During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts.

Now let’s talk about the activities. There are a number of activities conducted at LPU throughout the year. Various sports are structured. They can participate or play any sport according to their choice basketball, hockey, cricket, table tennis, volleyball etc.
Cultural events are very famous in the university like fashion shows, singing competitions, dancing competitions etc. Debate competition, speech competition are very common on the campus. These are usually organized to build up the confidence level and develop students personality. he participated in ‘One India-2018’ mega-fest. It showcased more than 160 festivals celebrated all across the country.
LPU is a great place to live during your prime student life. There are 7 on campus Boys Hostels and 6 on campus Girls hostel which provide quite lavish living facilities including 24 hours running water, dedicated hot water taps during winters, wifi, proper drinking water facilities, 24 hours power backup, 24 hours operational food canteens and departmental stores etc. There are loads of food kiosks as well as kiosks providing other services like mobile servicing, laptop servicing, tailors etc. catering to the needs of the students.
As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in.
Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.
From the Placements and job opportunities point of view, LPU is as good as compared to other private colleges and now it is getting better and better, there are loads of companies with LPU has tied up for placement of their student.
