First of all its totally depends on your interest that which branch you should choose. If you are interested in CSE then there's no point of taking ECE even in better NIT and vice- versa.

But if you have same interest and you are confuse the according to me you should go for CSE In NiT Jalandhar. As CSE has better in terms of placements but ECE is also a good branch you can choose this either.

Now it's totally depends on you that which college or branch you want to choose.

See, both of the branch ECE and CSE are circutal branch. So one from any branch will be eligible for

Same company. Even with the NIT most of the companies would be same visiting Jalandhar or jaipur. So you need to look for some other parameters for diffrentiating . One thing is that during semester you won't be taught the subject of CSE which will be important during placement. So, it would add extra burden to study the same by your own. You may also look for proximity from your home.

Ultimate choice should be yours. I have used some point to help you to make clear.

I think CSE at NIT Jalandhar is a better option than ECE at MNIT Jaipur. Of course, if MNIT Jaipur is at vicinity of your home, you can prefer it.

Jalandhar located near IT Hubs at Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Noida itself provides a sea of opportunities.Companies like Microsoft, Goldmann Sachs, PwC and Sapient are regular recruiters at NIT Jalandhar.
