But my seniors who wrote the ipm exam told me that it is waste buying that Pearson book.. So please tell me a good book

These books are great to clear your concept and basics for each sections as far as the syllabus IPM is concerned. Other than that pearsons book has grear reviews from many. You should also take a look at sample and previous year papers for practice.
