Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. I’ve spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. I’ve tried summing up my experience so far, below:

If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available.

Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic.

I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge.

LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc.

Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU is a definitely a good university where you will get lot to explore if u will apply efforts. As there are lot of students, so lot of opportunities are also there in all fields of life like sports,act,swimming,dancing and many more. The main thing is that you have to explore,if u will waste your time in sleeping and using phone in the hostel than definately u will regret. It's my suggestion at least follow one sports,join for that sport club or acting,dancing as your passion and always try to indulge yourself in something.

It’s a thing that how University treats you but what’s more important is how you treat the University. Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university.

Then you’ll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So if you don’t enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That’s a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I’m sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PG’s near University. Now decide what’s best for you. But you’ll be super safe inside the hostels than in PG’s that’s for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied with a guard from you hostel to library.Hospital, Mall, indoor stadium is also available inside the university campus.

8) LPU is having experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc.

9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you’ll have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, basketball anything. You’ll get many-many tournaments in every case. If you’re a computer geek, you like coding and all that technological stuff. You are gonna have a great great ride.

Undoubtedly LPU is the best University and without any second thought you should take admission in LPU. I am an Alumni of LPU and i have done MBA from Mittal School of Business, LPU. You have not mentioned the programme in which you are seeking admission into so i will give you the overview of my alma mater.

Frankly telling you, I was bit confused when I had to select a university for my graduation and one of my cousin told me about the LPU. I had certain doubts but after visiting LPU first time for counseling, all my doubts were cleared and I took the decision to join LPU. LPU has transformed me in many ways. And it's not me only, if you ask any student of LPU you will get the same answer.

To start with, if I talk about faculty of LPU, quite young and energetic faculty always ready to help students, listen to the students for any problem and teaches in very innovative ways.

Curriculum is always updated as per industry demands. Every student is expected to give presentations through case study or group discussions. So actually students get more confidence and their analytical ability is developed.

For me it was a very positive point that LPU is very much concerned about attendance and students need to attend all their classes. As I was a regular student so I enjoyed attending my all classes. If teacher go on leave then it was ensured that there will be no loss for the students so there will be make up class or adjustment classes.

Coming to the Infrastructure of LPU, I must say it is the best. We were having few classes in Lecture halls of LPU and it was an amazing feeling. Tuck shop was there in our building only. Library was my favorite place to spend time during free lectures. Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium is the world class having huge capacity. All the major events happened there. I was a day scholar so I did not get the chance to stay in hostel but my friends told me many times that hostel life is amazing although rules are strict for attendance, leaves and turnstiles are there for entry and exit from hostel.

During my Graduation I got myself registered for placements and the inputs I got for placements were just amazing. We had PEP classes, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Company/Industry specific sessions. I got job offer from two prestigious companies. But my father guided me to go for higher studies and then dropped the idea of job and applied for MBA in LPU. And Trust me I had taken the best decision of my life.

One other important factor to take admission in LPU was its Ranking and Accreditations. Mittal School of Business is ACBSP accredited and if I will plan to settle abroad it is actually going to help me a lot. I always feel proud to be Alumni of LPU. LPU is a best private university of India.

I think the main campus of SRM, i.e Chennai is still comparable to LPU, but certainly the NCR campus has still a long way to cover before it can reach the levels of LPU.

Being an education consultant I know these institutes inside out. I'm not denying that SRM NCR campus is a good Institute, they are putting very rigorous efforts, but SRM, chennai is far better than NCR one. On the other hand In this vicinity LPU is much better than the SRM, NCR campus.
