What is AIMA? - All India Management Association is one of the apex conducting bodies for management entrance exams at undergraduate and postgraduate level. AIMA as a conducting body provides the eligibility criteria and exam process schedule that is conducted for admission to various institutes. AIMA is associated with prestigious policy making bodies of the Government of India like All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Board of Accreditation (NBA); Association of Indian Management Schools, Hyderabad; National Productivity Council, New Delhi. AIMA Under Graduate Aptitude Test - UGAT
Under Graduate Aptitude Test or commonly known as UGAT is conducted for admission to various bachelor programmes like Integrated MBA, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Business Management, Bachelor of commerce, Bachelor in Science (IT), Bachelor of Foreign Trade, Bachelor of Information Technology and Management on behalf of the participating Institutes. UGAT is conducted once in a year for the students who have cleared 10+2 education or equivalent from recognized board and institution. UGAT is conducted in offline mode that is paper based for a duration of two hours. The paper consists of multiple choice questions and assess candidate’s general aptitude and technical skills.

AIMA Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
Management Aptitude Test is conducted by AIMA four times in a year viz., February, May, September and December. Candidates aspiring to take admission to post graduate management programmes can appear for MAT. Students who have completed their graduation in any discipline will be eligible to appear for MAT. There is no age bar to apply for exam. MAT is conducted in both online and offline modes. AIMA has also introduced remotely proctored internet based test for MAT. Candidates can apply through any of the mode or if can apply for both the modes. MAT PBT is conducted on first sunday of February, May, September and December whereas, CBT is conducted on subsequent Sunday. MAT is conducted for a duration of 150 minutes. MAT question paper consists of total 150 questions which MCQs. Students must note that the validity of the MAT score card is one year.

AIMA Research Management Aptitude Test (RMAT)
Research Management Aptitude Test is conducted for admission to AIMA and AMU joint PhD programme. Students who have completed their Master’s in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate will be eligible to apply for RMAT. RMAT is conducted in offline mode.
