Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, popularly known as Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, became truly functional in the year 2001.
The campus is protected from all types of pollution, offering a peaceful environment for research and studies spread over 10 acres of land, including state-of-the-art administrative buildings consisting of classrooms, labs, conference halls, libraries, design studios, museums and workshops.
The college is designed with facilities such as separate Boys & Girls Hostels, Residences for the employees, Open Air Theatre, Playground, Electricity and Water Distribution System. Other services and facilities are under development. The Institute also acquired 20 acres of land from the Government of Uttar Pradesh in Bhadohi for its second phase of expansion.
The institute has separate Boys Hostel namely "Swami Vivekanand Bhawan in the campus with full of modern amenities such as Television, Common Room, hygienic drinking water supply with Water Cooler and Aquaguard, mess, indoor games, well-furnished rooms with beds etc

The library present at the Indian Institute of Carpet Technology has a good collection of books, journals, articles and DVDs for the needs of both the students and professors. Libraries are often called the source of knowledge and help people in various ways.
An open theatre in the institute's campus is also available for the students to conduct different cultural activities, quiz-contests on occasions like Annual Day, Independence Day, Fresher Day etc.
The availability of laboratories in the campus helps students to put their learned theory into practical use for a better and clearer understanding of concepts.
The institute campus has become fully Wi-Fi which is available to all stakeholders 24x7 throughout the year. The students have ample opportunities to access educational contents through the use of internet over Wi-Fi.
Part time doctor is appointed to look after routine health of students. All the students of institute are covered under medical insurance scheme to take care of their medical requirements in the incurrence approved hospitals. Complicated cases are referred to the Medical College or JeevanDeep Hospital for necessary treatment.
Banking facility is available outside the institute campus by a fully fledged branch of the Bank of Baroda along with ATM facility. In addition ATMs of ICICI, UCO Bank, Axis bank and money spot are located near the institute.
Indian Institute of Carpet Technology Bhadohi is the only college in Asia that has a carpet and textile branch. The faculty of the college is very knowledgeable and friendly. And the size of the classroom is medium.The college has many facilities like library, sports center, saprate hostels for boys and girls,WiFi and LAN, Open air theatre, conference hall etc.
