The eligibility criteria for St. Xavier’s Entrance Test 2020 are as follows:

  • Candidates who have passed their 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible for registering for the exam
  • The minimum aggregate in 10+2 exam should be 60 percent
  • Those candidates belonging to the minority category should have 55 percent in their 10+2 examinations and those belonging to the reserve category should have 50 percent marks in their 10+2
  • Candidates from General Category whose birth date falls on or after 1st June 1995 are eligible to appear for St. Xavier’s Entrance Test
  • Candidates who belong to the Catholic community and SC/ST category who are born on or after 1st June 1994 are eligible to sit for St. Xavier’s Entrance Test 2020.

St. Xavier's College Entrance Test XIC OET Eligibility Criteria

Those interested in sitting for XIC OET 2020 should meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Candidates should be of 35 years or less
  • Candidates should have completed their graduation in a university approved stream (Arts, Commerce, Science, Computers, BMM, BMS, BE, Catering etc.)
  • For Advanced Integrated Communication Programme, a graduate  with a minimum work experience of two years (It would be preferred if the candidate is an executive or has a supervisory function).
  • Sponsorship is preferred, but it is not compulsory. However, a letter from the organisation is required which states that your organisation is aware that you are attending the programme.

Candidates can refer to the following instructions on how to fill the application form for St. Xavier’s Entrance Test 2020:

  • Candidates should visit the official website of St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai
  • They should follow the instructions for filling the online application form of St. Xavier’s 2020

St. Xavier's College Entrance Test 2020 Exam Pattern

The test duration is of 1 hour 45 minutes. The written tests if for 100 marks and are carried out in offline mode (It is an objective type test which is done on an OMR sheet. The final merit list is based on 60 percent weightage to the score obtained in the written test and 40 percent in the 10+2 exams. The written test is based on Multiple Choice Questions. The entrance test is conducted in English and there is no negative marking.

You have not mentioned here what college you are talking about, if you mean St. Xavier's college then which one ,because one is in kolkata and one is in Mumbai too.
So kindly ask your properly to get your answer and please mention the course which you want to pursue from there because admission process differs for different different courses.

At this point in time, the application forms for the Entrance examination haven't been released yet. The tentative dates have been scheduled to May. This might be pushed back as most exams have been postponed and we have a lock down until April 15th. And we can have certainty on anything only after these 20 days. There are no issues with you willing to change your stream for pursuing your bachelor's degree.
If your query is regarding St. Xavier College, Mumbai, then you will be selected on the basis of your Class 12th aggregate percentage while applying for any course related to humanities stream. You won't have to appear for any entrance exam.

Except for the Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor in Mass Media courses, entrance exams are not conducted for UG and PG - level courses in this college. Admission for BMS and BMM is based on 60% weightage to Entrance Test and 40% weightage to Class 12th aggregate marks.

The admission criteria for St. Xavier's college, Kolkata is also merit based.
