History
Hi,
The job of a professor is a very respectful one & the salary is also pretty high. There are different national level & state level exams for recruiting professors & there are also professors working in private institutions contractually. So, you can opt for either of them. In most of the cities in India, professors are paid goo salary, however, Delhi pays the highest, followed by Chandigarh, Hyderabad & Bengaluru.
Hope this helps.
Dear Aspirant,
First of all congratulations for yours stellar performance in board exams. I need you to know that it's not about which college is suitable for you. No matter in which college you get admission in you will get the same degree. Also, it's DU and thousands of students dream to get admission there. Cut offs are going to be very high this year as well. So, you will be lucky if you somehow get admission in north campus colleges. I can say you can definitely get admission in South campus colleges for sure. You can definitely get your desired course in some college but try and go for either north or south campus colleges instead of off campus colleges. Anyways, every college in DU is pretty good. You shouldn't worry much.
Also, if you belong to reserved category then you can surely get admission in few colleges of the colleges in North campus.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck

The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc.
The cutoff for BA History (Honours) is 50.5 marks for General/Open Category candidates. For Muslims, the cutoff is 45.75 marks. For JK candidates, the cutoff is 39 marks.

Hello,
Firstly it's imperative on your part to decide which subject you find interesting amongst political science, history, geography and are you wishing to go for BA Program or Hons in any of these subject, see these are really good combinations if you aim for UPSC exam or even let's say you want to teach at school level, for that in future you can go ahead with BEd and having master's degree also enable you to teach for higher classes, and in case of university level teaching you can appear for UGC NET or state level SETs, these don't require you to have any kind of teaching programme, simply based on graduation you will be eligible to appear for any government exams such as state PSCs/Banking/Insurance/SSC CGL/CDS(only OTA for female)/Railways to name a few, other than this you can explore more detailed information about these courses separately by visiting our page as mentioned below-
Dear aspirant,
University of Delhi allows students to take admissions under three categories: Merit based (Class 12 marks), Entrance Exam and ECA/Sports category. As per the information given by you, you can apply under the ECA/Sports category provided that you need to produce your National Certificate (in basketball) at the time of admissions. Your skills in basketball will also be tested, for which you will be graded and on the basis of your marks in that test, you will be allotted the course and college.
Hope this helps!
