first of all it depends on the university you choose like ex :if you are state board then you have to cover more topics to study ,and if you are in CBSE ,then the 11th syllabyus portion is the key fundamentals which
the course will be provide to you at the time of admission and counselimg that which branch you will get , all the best have a greatf uture ahead.

You can apply for sliding or upgradation, if there is any slide from other branches then you may get other branches.
If there is vacancy still then you can get other college or ciurse through upgradation.
