No there is no different eligiblity criteria.
Eligibility criteria to take admission :

Minimum 75% marks in 12 th from any recognise boards ( for general and OBC )
Minimum 65% for sc/ St .

If you are a general or OBC student, then you are not eligible for getting admission in IIT. Because to get into IIT , you need a minimum of 75% in your class 12th examination.
