can students of pcm group apply for iiser ?

Students from PCM group can apply for IISER ( Indian institute of science education and research) aptitude test. Most of the students who appear for this test will have PCM or PCB in class 12 th.

Yes, you are eligible and you can apply for IISER admission on the basis of PCM Group. However, you need to have appeared and qualified in any of the 3 channels based on which admission to the 7 IISERs is done. Admission into the IISERs is done based on 3 channels - Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), State and Central Boards Channel (SCB) channel and JEE Advanced. So, you have to qualify in any of these 3 channels and then meet the cutoff of the respective channel, basis which you are applying for admission. For admission through all 3 channels, you need to fill the application form which will tentatively be available in fourth week of May 2018. Candidates can apply for direct admissions based on KVPY and JEE Advanced, while for admission through SCB channel, they have to take an aptitude test.
