For any of NITs there are some of caste and economy base reservations. They are

EWS- 10% for general candidate who are economically weaker

OBC- NCL- 27% all the backward caste

SC- 15%For Scheduled Caste

ST- 7.5% for schedule tribe

PWd for physically disabled students. And there are also reservations for female candidates.

So, if your caste belong to any of the reservations category than you may get reservations for NIT Surathkal.
