KEA reserves certain seats for the candidates falling in the various categories as per the KCET 2019 reservation criteria. The seats are reserved for special categories candidates including Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), physically disabled, defence categories to name few.

To avail the benefit of KCET 2019 reservation of seats, candidates must belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes of citizens under categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B.
Such candidates must produce ‘Caste Certificate/ Caste Income Certificate’ issued by the concerned Jurisdictional Tahasildar during document verification.
