After you finish BDS , that is after internship you can do super specialisation courses which includes oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics etc.
In India, you need to appear for NEET MDS, that you would be eligible to apply only after you complete your internship and through the counseling process you can select your super specialisation course and college according to your rank.
If you want to study abroad, the process varies from country to country. First of all BDS degree from India is not a valid degree in most of the countries. Given below are process to be followed in different countries :
1. In European countries, including UK you need both MBBS and DDS to do a super specialisation in Maxillofacial surgery.
2. You need to qualify NBDE and NDBE exams for practice in USA and Canada, and do DDS for 2 years to get practising license and then apply for super specialisation.
3. For Australia and New Zealand you would have to qualify entrance test to get registered with the dental councils of the respective countries.
4. In countries like Japan, Russia you have to clear a language test first then apply for the entrance test.
5. In African countries India BDS degree is valid, you may apply for super specialisation there.
