I am studying in MIT Pune 1 st year in C.S. engineering and now I have to change my college.Can I get admission in VJIT of VIT from 2 year?
Inorder to shift the college after your 1st year of UG , ther has been a certain criteria for that inorder to do this you need to have atleast 8.0 CGPA in your both the semester as well the college in which you are trying to take the admission either VJIT or VIT and the department in which you wish to take the admission must have the vacancies such that they will intake you and before that you need to ask with your Dean / HOD with the appropriate reason for shifting the college by these methodology only you can be able to apply for the admission.

Vellore Institute of Technology also known as VIT University is a deemed University one of the most sought-after private engineering University in India . VIT University was founded in the year 1984 by the name Vellore Engineering College under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. Later in the year 2001, the institute was granted the University status by the UGC (University Grants Commission) . At the initial stages, VIT only provided the technical education programmes to the students, but later when the institute got the University status, other postgraduate and undergraduate programmes were started.
But coming to the topic VIT doesn't offer lateral entry in any of it's courses, the only way you can get into VIT is by giving JEE exam and starting for the first year.
