Hi
Why would it be a risk if you are interested in doing it?.. The eligibility criteria for MCA is Bachelor of computer applications or graduate in any field but with maths as a compulsory subject in 12th or in any year of graduation.

If you have done physics what was your applied component subject then Like mine was electronics 2 so I had C plus plus, microprocessor in the syllabus.

For a good start I recommend
https://code.org
it is basically for kids so it's quite basic.. You can learn fundamentals very easily and it's fun too as it's game based.
Have fun !!

Even if you don't have knowledge you can still do the course if you want to learn programming

Even if it's challenging it will be worthwhile if you like programming like I do. It's really fun.
