I eagerly want to take admission in fms
Hi Shrashti!
For that you should fill the application form of FMS available at its offical website and look up for the syallabus for its entrance exam.
Also after you have cleared the entrance exam, you have to go through WAT and PI and after clearing all these steps you can get admission in FMS .
Note- The entrance exam, WAT, PI have different weightage.
hope this answers this query,
cheers!
Hi..
According to the eligibility criteria of the institute, candidates should be graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT scores. VARC section is given 40% weightage whereas the other 2 sections are given 30% weightage each. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Extempore and Group Discussion rounds.
Thank you::)
Hii aspirant
Same as your CAT preparation for IIMs. The cut off for general category is 98.56 this year and it was 98.73 last year. So, it asks for some effort just to bag that interview call. Mind that they call 1200+ people for 101 General Category seats.
Now, they have 70% weightage for CAT and 30% for GD, Extempore and PI, each carrying 10%.
Calculations:
Last year, the final cut off for final admission for General Category was 66.xx marks out of 100.
Now, see, if you have got like 99 percentile, they will award you 44.xx marks out of 70, 47.xx for 99.5, 49.xx for 99.8 and 57.xx for 100 percentile. You get it?
So, to breach the 66.xx cutoff, you need to get atleast 20 marks out of 30 in GD, Extempore and PI if you got a percentile of 99.5. That is when it gets tough.
Basically, you need to have good comm skills, a clear and cool head to get that 20 marks out of 30. (assuming you got 99.5 percentile) coz the average marks I have seen is 15-16.
As per your percentile, your marks requirement in GD, Extempore and PI varies
Thank you
