My sc preparatory rank is 4404.can I get any branch in IIT Roorkee or IIT BHU

With an SC Preparatory Rank of 182 , getting a specific branch like CSE (5-year program) at IIT Roorkee is difficult to predict . Preparatory seats are allotted only after the regular JoSAA rounds based on the number of vacant reserved seats available in different IITs and branches.

That said:

A Preparatory Rank of 182 is generally considered a decent rank.
You do have a chance of getting an IIT through the preparatory route.
However, IIT Roorkee CSE is one of the most sought-after options , so there is no guarantee at this rank.

My suggestion is to fill all IITs and as many branches as possible during counselling to maximize your chances of getting a preparatory seat. Once allotted and after successfully completing the preparatory course, you can join the corresponding B.Tech program without reappearing for JEE Advanced .
