Placement of NIT Silchar is exceptionally good. Some of the past recruiters of NITS are-- DirectI Goldman Sachs People Interactive ,Polaris , PwC, Reliance JIOn Samsung , R & D, SAP Labs ,Wells Fargo Along with IT COMPANIES NITS students are recruited by many PSUs too - IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, PWGCIL, etc last year highest was offered to CS students with a package of 22 LPA to two students.
Average package 4.54 lakhs per annum.
NITS has active training and placement cell which provide internships at various organisations.
