As such you dont have strong job prospects in the Biotechnology Sector right after Graduation. Mostly Postgraduates and PhDs are preferred in the Biotech Industry as well as for the case, Research or Academia. However you do have many General prospects after BTech

1. Joining some of the Good CSIR Labs or IITs, IISc as Research Associate/Project Assistant/Project Associate/6-12 Month Internships at Foreign Universities and so on.

2. EdTech Sector/Data Analysis/Content Development/Teaching/Education/Project Management Opportunities

3. MBA or Government Service Exam Preparation, UPSC CSE, SSC CGL, State PCS, Railway RRB, RBI Grade B, SBI PO and many others.

4. MTech/PhD after GATE

5. Finance/Machine Learning/Data Science Opportunities after relevant Experience

6. Many Pharmacy Companies as well as Drug Manufacturers like Piramal, Dr Reddy, Alembic, SUN Pharma as well as many BioChemical Labs and Biomedical, Medical electronics Organisations do recruit Biotechnologists through Off Campus Procedures. You should be alert regarding opportunities.
