Being an LPU Alumni, I can say B.Arch programme at LPU is one of the leading programme in India. B.Arch at LPU is a good choice based on my own personal experience. The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. In the programme, innovative teaching practices are adopted. One such practice is called Experiential learning week which is organized every semester in which students are taken to nearby historic and construction sites and are given live case studies to do. In design studios, the professors encourage students to take challenging and practical design problems. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department. The department is actively working to arrange internships by making a cluster of architectural and consultant firms with them. A series of guest lectures and talks are organized throughout the year in school of architecture in which world-renowned architects are invited. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU is one of the good college you can go for in terms of architecture , and also they have too many exposures for good placements. As every student is concerned for placement, LPU gives good placement. Around an average CTC of 10LPA and an highest CTC package of 15LPA.So it is good you can opt for architect.
