Hi,
With around 1.35 lakh rank, EWS category, and Delhi quota, getting lower branches like Chemical or Biotech at Delhi Technological University can still be possible in later rounds. On the other hand, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology may offer you CSE or allied branches with comparatively better coding and placement opportunities in the tech field.
If your son is mainly interested in software/IT careers and placements, then CSE or related branches at MAIT can be a practical choice. However, if college brand value, campus exposure, and flexibility for future opportunities matter more, DTU can also be worth considering even with a lower branch.
The final decision should ideally depend on his interest.
