First of all, there is nothing to worry about.
In IGNOU ( Indra Gandhi National Open University) conducts examination for all programs twice in a year. First in the June and second in the december which also means you can apply to the university in starting of year and in middle of year.
So if you took admission in month of December , then your exam will be conducted in next December ( on completion of year) whereas if you fail in any exam , you can apply to give those exams in the month of June following december. You have to submit your assignments to your regional centre before applying for the exams in prior of two before exams that's in Between october to November. Then you have to fill online examination form according to your subjects through their official website. Before an week of the exams, you will get your admit card and you are ready to take exams.
And same goes with the students who take admissions in the month of july. Exams are conducted in the month of June. Assignments should be submitted between march to april.
