I personally believe that output is the function of inputs means if input is good , output has to be, so is the case for the placements of LPU. I am unaware about IIT Roorkee but one of my niece took admission in LPU last year and she appreciated every another effort of the organisation to give e quality education.

She told that LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same , it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc to provide updated curriculum.
