What about the placements of IIT Roorkee Architecture branch placements?
Architecture Course was started at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in the year 1956-57.The Institute takes very special care in selecting students for admission to various academic programmes with the objective of providing technical education only to the best ones. The average salary package one gets around 5 lakhs and sometimes it may go till 15 lakhs per annum ( in case of non-core).

Placement of architecture in IIT roorkee is not good as other branches of IITs. In core branch there are students who don't even get placed. If you are lucky then you can get a job of 5 lpa.

Being an architecture student traditional campus placements are not expected.
The salary is not good for core jobs (5 lakh average and 12 lakh highest) but other jobs pay well (9 lakh average and 14 lakh highest). There is a nice scope for getting placed for non-architectural jobs like coding, graphic design, management etc.80% of the companies wanted coders and programmers.

The placement of IIT Roorkee Architecture brance is not so good..
I think this is the only college where architecture students get placed. The salary isn't useful for center occupations (5 lakh normal and 12 lakh most noteworthy) yet different employments pay well (9 lakh normal and 14 lakh most astounding). There is a pleasant degree for getting set for non-engineering employments like coding, graphics design, the management and so on.
I think that the branch is not so good for to be placed..
