there are 2 types of BSC courses

1. Autonomous course
2. Regular course

An autonomous course is where the college designs the course and syllabus for its students. This happens in some private institutions

While the regular course is governed by the government or head University. This is for the institutions governed by the government or semi aided colleges

So based on this the BSC colleges can be classified.

Secondly it also depends on what bsc courses you want to do whether specialization or Honours program or a regular program or integrated.

Honours and specialization are same wherein you pass out in 1 particular subject.  Your regular program can be a course with no specific specialization.

Some students opt for integrated programs like BSC + b.ed or bsc+MSC.
