Hi Aatif,
Both the colleges are equally good. As far as placements are concerned, the highest package at IIIT Hyderabad till date is Rs.35 LPA and average package is Rs.18.3 LPA . The highest package at DTU till date is Rs.38.5 LPA and average package is Rs.6.4 LPA .
Thank you and best of luck.

Laser edged focus on coding.
Placements: The placements of this college is the prime reason it is becoming more and more popular in recent times. Over the past years, median salary has been consistently over 15-18 lacs. In addition to that top salaries abroad go in the range 150,000 US dollars. Almost all top companies namely Uber, Apple, Microsoft, Qualcomm etc. come for the placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top notch with respect to labs, workplaces and research facilities. Wi-Fi / LAN speed is really good in institute spaces, open labs, library. However the first year students don't have LAN connections in their hostel to encourage them to explore Institute facilities. However with respect to sports facilities are lacking, their is no swimming pool nor an indoor badminton court. However sport enthusiasts can join Gachibowli stadium which is walking distance away.
Faculty: Faculty and professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. It is upto the students to extract the most from the professors. The course is packed with coding assignments with hard deadlines. The assignments are really mentally tiring however they do help you to learn a lot.
Dtu
Placements: DTU is known for placements. It has a 100% placement record. However the competition is tough due to high student intake each year. Packages for computer-related streams range from 3.16 Lacs (TCS) to above 1 crore. All major tech giants such as Microsoft, Amazon visit DTU. DTU however does not reveal its placement records.
Infrastructure: DTU has high-speed Wi-Fi almost covering the entire campus. Classrooms are well-equipped. They are Air-conditioned and have speakers and mics for teaching. Labs are pretty average. Hostels are really bad just like most colleges. Food is not that great either. Sports facilities are excellent. There is football field, cricket field, running track, volleyball, basketball, badminton courts etc.
Faculty: Faculty is not good like most government colleges You will have to manage on your own in most subjects. Rarely you will find a teacher who is dedicated towards teaching. Course is old and needs to be updated. Student teacher ratio is 1:65. The course is also not very useful. It is highly theoretical like CBSE. Companies see your ability to apply knowledge.
