Aerospace is a specialized branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts.  LPU has everything a student needs for the growth and education in my opinion. It has good infrastructure, good placements, good faculty, application based teaching,practical approach,real time exposure,laboratories etc.

See, as i know during my admissions, only two reputed universities were offering this program. One is Chandigarh University and other one is LPU in the north region of our country. Yeah we have one more in Dehradun, but that was expensive and it was kinda maintenance program.

Now, talking about experience in LPU. They really work hard for their students and properly manage various cultural and academic platforms, so that, their students can take part and can excel in their interest or field.

Batch 2016 was the first Aerospace Batch of LPU. There were about 55 in number. Irrespective of  teachers working hard on students, daily motivating  to make research papers and trying their best to open up great internship options for us. I was more like a lazy student, i didn't take part in any of these and most of us haven't.

But you need to understand, this field is kinda new and most of people among us don't even know what aerospace is actually about. So no matter how much hard your teachers work on you, you personally have to work more hard if you want to opt for jobs in this field.

You have to get into the paid internships. The path is not going to be easy as compared to Cse students now. They have millions of options for internships and jobs. But for us, they are going to be very very limited and to take use of such, you need to through with your syllabus.

And let me tell you one more thing,My friend   opt for this course, because she  thought she  will be studying about space and stuff. But it was just a single minor subject in all four years.

If you are studious, you can make a way. But if you want a easy peasy life, better opt for another course in LPU. If you are still on Aerospace engineering , i would suggest go to south universities, there are many old and reputed universities in this field. And if you are from North and want to stay here only, i will suggest either work very work and be clear what you want or simply change the stream.

Though I have done my engineering in CSE from LPU, but I have my friends who have done Aerospace engineering and I have seen them getting good placements as well. I remember I visited their labs for the first time and I was impressed by the facilities provided by the university.

Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities.
