Will i get admission in MD (Peadiatrics) if i have scored 115 marks in NEET PG in south India medical colleges
With your 115 mark getting into need PG in South India medical colleges is really hard and impossible because you usually need higher cut off to get into any other medical college if you have I am ask you will get into government college if you have mid level marks you will get into private in institution
Hello,
With 115 marks in NEET PG, it is very difficult to get MD Paediatrics in any South India medical college.
MD Paediatrics is one of the most preferred branches and usually requires a much higher rank and score. You may not get a seat in government or private colleges for this course with your score.
You can still try for other clinical or non-clinical branches in private colleges, but chances for Paediatrics are very low.
Hope it helps !
With a NEET PG score of 115 marks, it is highly unlikely to get admission to MD Pediatrics in government medical colleges in South India or anywhere else. The qualifying cutoff for general category candidates for NEET PG is around 275-320 marks, and for reserved categories, it's around 235-275 marks. Specifically, for MD Pediatrics, the expected cutoff for general candidates is approximately 510 marks, with slightly lower cutoffs for reserved categories. Usually, candidates with scores significantly below the general qualifying marks (115 is well below) do not become eligible for counseling in government colleges for clinical branches like Pediatrics.
Hey, With a NEET PG score of 115, getting an MD Pediatrics seat in South India government medical colleges is very unlikely. The reason is that the cutoff ranks for MD Pediatrics in government colleges are usually much higher, often above 1000–1500 rank for most states in South India. With your score, chances for government seats are extremely limited.
However, all is not lost. You can still look into private medical colleges, where the cutoff scores are generally lower. Another option is to consider DNB courses or diploma programs in pediatrics or related fields, which sometimes have lower score requirements and can help you start your specialization path.
My suggestion would be to participate in counseling, check all available options carefully, and keep backup courses in related fields ready so you don’t miss out on any opportunity.
Unfortunately a score of 115 marks in NEET PG is extremely low to get a seat in MD (Paediatrics) in a medical college in South India. The cutoff marks for MD Paediatrics is higher, even for private colleges.
You need to reappear for next year if you are interested in this course.
work hard and try to achieve good AIR less than 350 so that you will get your desired course.
Hope it helps.
