As you mentioned your percentile is 98,your rank will be more or less around 23000.You didn't mention your homestate and category you belong to and branch you are interested in.Considering you belong to home state and of general category, closing rank for nit surathkal irrespective of branch is 18760.So if you are from general category you might not get admission.But if you have any reservation you may have an edge.For more information on cutoffs checkout the following link:
