It has UMS(University Management System).. in this UMS you will have your time table, examination details and hostel information etc the entire information of your’s will be available in this ums so if you want to know about your time table you have to login to your ums account both laptop/mobile will help and in various other tasks to complet on time you need it.

As per my brother experience at LPU, Hostel life without laptop and internet in lpu is like a hell so internet (wifi) will be freely provided by university, so if you want to use internet you must have laptop and can use at any time within hostel,academic block,library etc.

But if you will  bring mobile phones with you during exam , then you have to submit the  mobile phone to the concerned faculty.

LPU has its own portal called University Management System(UMS) which needs to be uploaded in every student's phone. The app is called LPU Touch where all the updations, notifications, announcements are flooded there itself. So, the students must have an android phone with them.

My cousin done her graduation in LPU. she had both mobile and laptop with her from day one without any restriction in the campus and hostel.
