NIT Manipur (NITMN) Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Infrastructure of my college is extremely poor, and their are very less buildings that can be called as complete. In the hostel, their is wifi facility. If we talk about the food quality in the mess then that is very poor.

I am Computer Science and Engineering student at NIT Manipur. Labs for specified subjects are also provided. If we talk about the quality of education and the teachers than that is quite Ok. Some teachers are really good....

Till last year the placements were quite good as one of our senior got the highest package of 47 lakhs at Amazon... If we talk about the placements this year than that are not that much good as they were earlier and the average was close to 10 Ipa this year....

The total cost of my UG degree includes mainly Hostel&mess fee and Academic fee.. Approximately the per sem academic fee is Rs 67000 and the hostel&mess combined fee is Rs 26,900. As our college is a Institute of national importance the value for money we invest is quite ok..

The views we get from our college are definitely worth to watch as it is situated near mountains which looks more beautiful with clouds in rainy season. Our college has a medium sized Library. Also their is facility of ambulance in case of any emergency... It is safe.. . But last year during the riots the condition was very serious and college was closed for 2 months...

There are many facilities provided like projectors and smart screens in the classrooms provided for the students. Wi Fi provided is also of good speed.. All the instruments are available in the laboratories . Sports facility as well as medical facilities are provided for the students in the campus. Everything is well maintained and hygienic there. Hostels are also good.

Mostly faculty teachers are very good in teaching as well as nature. The course curriculum is also relevant and upto dated. The professors are helpful and well qualified. The study makes students industry ready and many guest lectures had also been organized for students by the college.

Our college has good placements records. Mostly students 90% got placed every year from this college. Top companies like Amazon, Infosys, New zera etc visits the campus and provides placements as well as internships to the students. The highest package was around 48LPA and average package was around 12LPA.
